There is no Such Thing as Unemployment

Lemonaders,

If you are currently looking for a conventional job, you may wish to challenge my claim.  Nevertheless, if you can read, write, and surf on the internet, you should be working this very minute.  While you may not be able to find a conventional job, you can, and should start thinking about working as a freelancer.  Regardless of whether you are interested in web design, writing, or graphic design, there are at least three locations where you can find good paying online customers. All you will need to do is have the initiative to compete, the ability to do the job, and the will to commit your time and effort to excellence.  For today, I am going to introduce these sites.

In my next journal entry, I will tell you how to make the  most of these sites, as well as how to  avoid the most common mistakes. Stay tuned - because you are about to find a job and a career that will reward you with a lifetime of financial security beyond anything you ever dreamed possible.

The Top 3 Freelancing Sites Based on Personal Experience:

1.  Getafreelancer - By far the best.  While many people recommend Elance, their commissions are high, and there is no way to reduce them.  On the other hand, when you join Getafreelancer, you will only need to pay a monthly fee of 12.00. After that, you will not need to pay any commissions.  When you use their Milestone payment system, you do not need to worry about not being paid for your work.  Once the escrow money is released, you can apply for transfer on a weekly basis.  For example, if you make a request during the week, funds usually reach your Paypal account on the following Monday.  With Getafreelancer, you can place competitive bids without sacrificing profitability.  Register and bid for free today, and start looking at all the money you can be making!

2.  Getacoder - In general, they have fewer projects, and they always want a commission fee.  These fees are still lower than the ones charged by Elance.  While you won't get as much for the 7.95 monthly membership fee, customers tend to be willing to pay more than at other sites.  The last time I used Getacoder's escrow system, they held my money for several weeks because I wasn't a preimium member.  It balances out at the end of the day though.  Some people do very well at this site, and it is free to join, so I do recommend it.

3.  Scriptlance - Although I haven't won any projects at Scriptlance, their commission fees are reasonable, and they also feature an escrow system.  Joining is easy, and free.

Bonus Link for Writers: Constant Content.  If you are looking for a little extra money in exchange for writing higher quality articles, Constant Content is perfect.  While they charge a high commission for each article sold, you will still get more for writing a single article than  you would as a ghostwriter. If you have a good writing style and want to look toward higher paying publications, Constant Content is an ideal place to get your name noticed.  Membership is free, and you will find their guidelines fair and useful.  They also have a wonderful message board where you can learn more about the art of writing.
